Who Am I?

Raising two children one day at a time with my partner. We started our parenting journey in 2006 and became foster parents in October 2007. Two weeks after we got our foster license we got a call that a wonderful baby boy (C) was born. We have since adopted him. In October 2008 we were graced with his biological sister (Z). We are a mixed race family (our children are African American and we are white) and proud of it. We are newly transplanted Southern Californians.

I’m a Masters Degree, two kid, lesbian, partnered, preschool teacher who often is made to feel like an idiot by her children. Taking our shot at the “Gayby Boom.” Somedays we fail miserably…

  1. Hi, I read your comments on Debra Parker’s blog/ One Girl. I was fascinated about how honest you were about your faith. I will pray that God directs your path in discovering what you believe. Your little boy is so cute!
